SHIPPENSBURG - Enos H. Hege, 56, of 878 Rowe Rd., died Sunday evening, Dec. 7, 1986, in Chambersburg Hospital. Born May 7, 1930, in the Maugansville, Md., area, he was the son of the late Amos S. and Amanda Horst Hege. He was a lifelong farmer, having farmed nearly 28 years at his Southampton Township farm.

He was a member of Rowe Mennonite Church and was a Sunday school teacher. He was coordinator for the church's Mennonite Disaster Service.

Surviving are his wife, Betty L. Hertzler Hege; eight children, Jean L., Lanell B. and Arlin D., all at home, Jay E. of R.R. 8, Hagers-town, Md., Carol (Mrs. Eugene) Hostetter of R.R. 2, McConnellsburg, and Daniel L., Gary M. and Dena (Mrs. Ivan) Skrivseth, all of Olar, S.C.; six brothers, Paul H. of New Oxford, John H. of 2380 Philadelphia Ave., Chambersburg, Mark H. of 681 Wagner Rd., Noah H., his twin, of Richland Center, Wis., Amos H. of 7145 Molly Pitcher Hwy., Greencastle, and Adam H. of 6628 Angle Rd., Chambersburg; two sisters, Ruth (Mrs. Simon) Heatwole of Dayton, Va., and Emma (Mrs. Ivan) Martin of 14948 Ridge Rd., Waynesboro; and 12 grandchildren. A sister preceded him in death.

Service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Rowe Mennonite Church, 744 Pinola Rd. The Revs. Paul J. Martin, Ellis L. Martin and Glenn E. Martin will officiate. Burial will be in Rowe Cemetery. Visitation will be in Fogelsanger Funeral Home, 112 W. King St., after 6:30 p.m. Tuesday and in the church one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Mennonite Disaster Service, in care of Mark H. Hege, 681 Wagner Rd., Chambersburg, Pa. 17201.
